Horse Riding in the Agafay Desert

Horse riding in Agafay costs €100 per person for 1 hour in the saddle with a guide, including transfer from Marrakech and tea. It suits beginners and experienced riders alike, because the guide adapts the pace to the group: walk, trot and sometimes a little canter depending on the level and the terrain. Allow 2 h 30 to 3 h in total, driving included. On arrival, you meet your horse, your gear is adjusted and a briefing matched to your level comes before setting off. Then you ride for an hour on the rocky Agafay tracks facing the Atlas Mountains, stopping at the best viewpoints. A helmet is provided and recommended for everyone. There are two departures a day, at 9 am or 4 pm, the latter with the sunset light. A supplement may apply if your hotel is outside Marrakech. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before, and a 20% deposit confirms the booking.
