Sunset Camel Ride in Agafay Desert
The Agafay camel ride costs €35 per person for 1 hour with a Berber guide, including return transfer from your Marrakech hotel. It is the most family-friendly activity in the desert: children can ride from age 5 with an adult. There are two departures a day, at 9 am or 4 pm; the 4 pm slot is the most popular because the ride ends in the sunset light, facing the hills and the Atlas Mountains. After about 45 minutes on the road, the guide gives a safety briefing, leads the caravan by the rope and shares Berber life along the way, then a tea break ends the outing.
